5. Sharing your information

We treat your information confidentially. We will only share a candidate’s details with a client where the candidate has given explicit approval. We may also share information with:

  • service providers who support our business (for example IT, hosting and email providers), under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms;
  • professional advisers and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. International transfers

We operate searches across the US, United Kingdom and Ireland. As a result, your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside the UK. Where we do this, we put in place appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent) to ensure your information remains protected.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep candidate personal data for 24 months from our last meaningful contact with you, after which it is reviewed and either securely deleted or retained on the basis of renewed consent. Client and contractual records may be kept for longer where required for legal, accounting or regulatory purposes.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request erasure of your information;
  • restrict or object to our processing;
  • request portability of your information; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
