Job details:
1) Measure works, agree valuations and issue payment certificates to package subcontractors
2) Price variations, assess change and maintain the cost report for allocated packages
3) Procure subcontract packages, review tender returns and prepare recommendations for award
About the role
Due to continued expansion as a direct result of winning new business, we are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced a Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
What the role involves
- Supervise the procurement of packages ensuring technical completion.
- Monitor sub-contractor and supplier payments and sub-contractor variations.
- Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director.
- Manage relevant client communications.
- Document and cost changes to the work scopes and prepare the monthly valuations and final accounts.
What is on offer
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role is essential, preferably within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
- Data Centre experience would be a significant advantage.
- Relevant level 8 degree.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
