About the role
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Quality Lead to join our team for a new major Data Centre project in Sines, Portugal.
This is a senior site-based role responsible for driving quality strategy, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and leading the QA/QC team to deliver works to the highest standards. The Quality Lead will act as the primary quality representative on site, working closely with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Commissioning, and Client teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of the Project Quality Management System across CSA and MEP works
- Manage and mentor QA/QC Engineers on site
- Oversee ITPs, inspections, testing, and quality documentation
- Manage NCRs and drive corrective actions
- Liaise with construction, commissioning, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Ensure quality dossiers and handover documentation are completed to required standards
- Support audits and promote a right-first-time quality culture
What the role involves
- Degree in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years’ QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of both CSA and MEP installations
- Experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical environments desirable
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and reporting skills
