Job details:
1) Book and track deliveries, allocate unloading slots and update the daily logistics schedule
2) Control gate registers, vehicle inductions and escort requirements for incoming plant and materials
3) Maintain laydown allocations, waste segregation points and material storage records on site

About the role

We are currently seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to support logistics operations on a major construction project. This role will coordinate site deliveries, manage booking systems, manage logistics schedule and ensure efficient material flow in line with project requirements. Must have construction site experience for this position.

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily deliveries, site access, and material movements
  • Manage and track logistics schedules in line with project requirements
  • Manage the online delivery booking system
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
  • Work closely with the logistics manager, supervisors and delivery teams
  • Review and mark up drawings using Bluebeam
  • Maintain site records and documentation via Project Site Access System
  • Monitor storage areas, laydown zones, and traffic management compliance
  • Produce regular logistics reports for the project team
  • Attend weekly lookaheads and mark up plans for logistic routes prior to these meetings

What the role involves

  • Background in Construction, or related discipline
  • 1–3 years’ experience in construction, site coordination, engineering, or logistics
  • Experience using Bluebeam or PDF Edit or similar
  • Ability to read drawings and work in a fast-paced site environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience on large-scale or data centre projects is advantageous.
