Job details:
1) Oversee cable pulling, terminations and containment installation across assigned areas of the building
2) Check materials, tools and drawings are on site before each shift starts
3) Sign off installation checklists and raise defects for correction before inspection

About the role

We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.

We are please to announce that we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Bertonico, Italy

Responsibilities

Ensuring that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including:

  • Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades.
  • Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager.
  • Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
  • Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works.
  • Attending daily/weekly meetings.
  • Manage Labour requirements are in line as per project program requirements.
  • Maintain Quality of the works to a high level.
  • Ensure Sub Contractors are working as efficiently as possible.
  • Notify line manager of all variations and delays.
  • Ensure all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
  • Coordinate and store all delivered materials in a safe and secure manner.
  • Review all Sub Contractors Plant and access equipment is certified and in good working condition.
  • Health & Safety issues on site and ensuring that all Sub Contractors are working in a safe manner.
  • Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety.
  • Ensuring housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contactors.
  • Complete weekly ‘don’t walk by’ cards.

Skills, qualification & experience

  • Relevant electrical trade certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
  • Data Centre experience is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required
