About the role
The EHS Advisor will support the organisation in maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, promoting a strong safety culture, and providing practical EHS guidance across the business.
What the role involves
- Provide day-to-day EHS advice and support to management and employees
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, audits, and incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with EHS legislation, standards, and company policies
- Support environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare and deliver EHS training, inductions, and safety communications
- Maintain EHS records, reports, and KPIs; support audits and regulatory inspections
- Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental or related discipline (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, QQI Level 6/7, or equivalent)
- 2+ years’ experience in an EHS or H&S advisory role
