About the role

We have an opportunity for a Document Controller on a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany. This role is vital to supporting the smooth operation of a fast-paced construction site environment, ensuring the effective management and control of all project documentation in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all project documentation adheres to company standards and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Distribute and track documents to ensure that all relevant stakeholders receive and have access to the latest versions of project documentation (including drawings, schedules, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and reports).
  • Maintain and update project registers such as the document register, RFI register, action log, and issue log.
  • Analyse and summarise data from various project logs, highlighting outstanding actions or overdue items.
  • Generate regular reports to support project tracking, including document status updates and overdue reports.
  • Ensure accurate storage and version control of documents in compliance with project document control procedures.
  • Liaise with external consultants and contractors to ensure their documentation complies with project standards.
  • Support Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Health & Safety (HSE) initiatives by assisting with audits and ensuring document-related compliance.

What the role involves

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar site-based role
  • High level of verbal and written English is essential
  • Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
  • High level of IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience of knowledge sharing applications is advantageous
