1) Supervise CSA gangs on the plot from groundworks and slabs through to finishes
2) Book plant, access and material deliveries for concrete, steelwork and fit out activity
3) Inspect completed formwork, rebar and blockwork and stop work on unsafe practice

About the role

We have opportunities for CSA Supervisors on a major data centre project in Sweden.

The successful candidates will manage the co-ordination of the Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages.

They will have a demonstrated experience in supervising works packages including civils, fit out, roofing and cladding. There will also be an expectation to manage site safety and ensure quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the co-ordination of the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) work packages.
  • Lead the management of site safety in conjunction with safety personnel, including set-up, ongoing monitoring, and close-out.
  • Oversee site quality assurance (QA) processes in conjunction with the project team.
  • Manage the project schedule in coordination with Planners, Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Consulting Engineers/Architects to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Take responsibility for all day-to-day site operations.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower requirements; conduct regular subcontractor meetings.
  • Oversee and maintain site documentation in line with project and client requirements.
  • Attend and actively contribute to site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning meetings, co-ordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Support the close-out of project deliverables, including Final Account, Punch List, Safety & QA files, material/plant reallocation, and project plan completion.
  • Ensure all aspects of change management (cost and programme impact) are properly managed and documented.
  • Review construction drawings and setting-out details for accuracy and buildability.
  • Carry out, distribute, and close out CSA snag lists.

What the role involves

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to manage a team of CSA personnel
  • Strong communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
  • At least 7 years relevant experience
  • Experience in delivering large scale CSA projects
